Trillium Candles are designed to be burnt for 3 to 4 hours at the time. This will allow the entire wax to melt away and give the maximum burning time.

For longer and cleaner burning, keep candles out of drafts and trim the wick to 1 cm or 3/8” every 3 to 4 hours. Drafts and untrimmed wicks can cause faster burning and smoking.

Extinguish a smoking candle; trim the wick and light. The candle should then burn clean.

To extinguish candles without smoke simply dip the wick into the pool of melted wax with a non-flammable tool.

If, when lighting a candle, the flame is too weak, carefully pour out some of the melted wax immediately forming around the wick.

Burning fragrant candles will smell more in a small room. The fragrant air tends to rise to the ceiling.

Burning candle should never be left unattended.
